Common questions

How do I add a task?

Tap the orange plus at the bottom right. Type it the way you would say it, for example "Call Kate tomorrow at 9 #Home": Dazzy reads the day, the time and the list from the words.

How do I finish or delete a task?

Tap its circle or square to tick it. In a list, swipe right to finish and left to delete; an Undo bar appears for a few seconds.

Why don't I see my calendar events?

Dazzy needs calendar access. Open iOS Settings, Dazzy, Calendars, and turn it on. Dazzy only reads events and never changes them.

Reminders don't arrive.

Turn reminders on in Dazzy, Settings, Reminders, and check that notifications are allowed in iOS Settings, Dazzy, Notifications. A task only gets a reminder when it has a time.

How do I keep my tasks on a new iPhone?

In Dazzy, Settings, Backup, sign in with Apple. On the new iPhone, sign in with the same Apple ID and your backup comes back.

How do I delete my account?

Dazzy, Settings, Backup, Delete account. This removes the account and its backup from our servers. The tasks on your iPhone stay.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: iOS Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Dazzy. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
